HELL
TO PAY
MINI-BIOGRAPHY
 |
I
grew up in Absecon, NJ. After
graduating high school, I entered the
Navy as an enlisted man. After school for the Cryptologic Technician rating, I was launched onto my first
adventure--duty in
Japan. During this assignment, I saw first hand places that would become important scenes in
the novel HELL
TO PAY.

 |
Other assignments included: Kodiak, AK; Pensacola, FL;
Winter Harbor, ME; Azores,
Portugal; Oahu, Hawaii;
Pensacola, FL and Fort Meade, MD. I retired from active duty in 1980 as a Lieutenant. |
Civilian Career |
Prior to retirement, I completed training as a Commercial
Pilot and Flight Instructor, which became a part-time labor of love for
many years. Subsequent
to retirement from active duty, I held positions in the defense
contracting industry, in the fields of signal intelligence and
electronic warfare. When the bottom fell out of that industry, I entered
the commercial airline industry--PanAm--in operations
management.
When
PanAm terminated operations, I returned to school and obtained a BHS
degree in Health Administration, as did my wife. We are currently
healthcare administrators for different employers. Our home is in Boca
Raton, FL.
My
hobbies include photography, SCUBA, fishing and flying. |
