CONNER - PATTERSON REUNION 2006 - Blue Ridge

The Conner - Patterson Reunion will be on May 27, 2006. This is the fourth Saturday and will be from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Circle J Steakhouse in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Please plan to attend and tell all of your family so they can make plans to attend and enjoy the fellowship, food, and gospel music provided by talented members of the family. We hope to have an even larger turnout this year. Every one is welcome !!!

JOHN CONNER, born about 1790 in N.C., married MARY ANN BROCK, born about 1800 in N.C. John and Mary Ann moved to Polk County Tennessee from Burke N.C. John was very active in the government of Polk County and according to the Polk County Court Minute Book, Vol, 1 1840 - 1844, Page 4, he was one of seventeen Justices of Peace elected on the 7th day of March 1840. John and Mary later moved to Blount County Alabama. They are listed in the 1860 Blount County Alabama census living next to their son John who married Catherine Addison, daughter of Lott Addison of Polk County Tennessee. We don't have a record of when John died, but Mary died between 1870 and 1880 in Jackson County Alabama.
