J Urban's Psychology Class Homepage, 2002-2003
Social Studies Department
Geneva High School, Geneva, NY

In the Psychology course we will look at a wide variety of topics.  This year we will be using
a basic text with additional readings.
The first half of the course we will study some basic topics such as research, intelligence, motivation, stress, perception and others. In the second half of the course we focus on abnormal psychology, including savantism, phobias, neurosis and psychosis.
Each student will be expected to do some independent research on a topic of interest. Student
participation and attendance is important because we do things in class  (experiments, discussions
of the readings, etc.). These activities and discussions cannot be duplicated outside of class time.
Please refer to your calendar as there will be regular weekly quizzes.
Any time you are having problems with the course please see me immediately.
Below are some good general links to get you started.
