A Little Bit About MeHi my name is Tina Larson aka Tin69 a nickname that sometimes gets me in trouble! I once won a couple hundred dollars with it a bingo and its been my lucky number ever since. Birth date, ect: October 9th 1965, born in Seaforth Ont. a small town just outside of London. Raised basically in northern Saskatchewan. I was an air force brat. I didn't even know what a door to door salesman was until my Dad retired from the forces when I was 15. Address: Fort St. John B.C. Canada. Its a small city (15,000) in northern B.C. known as the energy capitol of B.C, lots of oil and gas. For history buffs we're the oldest settlement in B.C. Family: My husband (soul mate) Doug married 9 yrs May 27th together 10 1/2. Three children Nathan 12, Jeffery 9 & Chelsey 7. Four pets Sam(dog) 1 yr, Nina (dog) 4 months, Scar & Patch (cats) brother & sister 3yrs old. Education: I'm embarrassed to say I dropped out of grade 12 to get married and I wasn't even pregnant!!! That marriage only lasted a year; I got tired of being a punching bag. I did write my G.E.D.( general equivalence diploma) what a joke that is!!! Got 90's and didn't even study. Work: Was an assistant manager/florist for ten years for my mom's store. And have done everything from washing dishes to oil field maintenance. I am a full time domestic engineer now, with my household its a full time job! I am also the volunteer coordinator and student mentor at Writer's Villiage University and a community leader at Geocities Athens. Fun: I love reading anything except westerns and harlequin romances. I also do alot of crafts; crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, dried arrangements, ect. In the summer; gardening and fishing. In the winter; hibernating. Ambitions: To raise my children with a good sense of morals and respect for others, easier said than done. To improve my writing and eventually write something longer than a short story. If I ever get published it will be bonus cookies. I write because I enjoy it and find it a great outlet for my feelings. My dream in life is to see racism abolished. I long for the day that people aren't judged because of their color or religion. ![]() ![]() |
