Paul’s Salutation

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus, Ephesians 1:1
Everyone may enjoy the peace from God of which Paul wrote. It is not obtained by force of arms or treaties. It is available on the easiest of terms: repentance and trust in Jesus Christ, the Savior. By Jesus’ death at Calvary, the sin that made all mankind enemies of God was paid. The debt was canceled; the gulf of separation was bridged.
Whoever will accept the payment obtains salvation and eternal peace of God.

Landmark Youth

The last few months have been very busy for the Landmark Youth Worship Team. We were saddened when one of our members, Josh Thompson, had moved to Arizona after Christmas. We rejoice, however that Melinda Vollet joined our group by letter from Ohlman and that Tammy Baker also joined our church and Youth Worship Team after moving to Missouri from California.
Youth Worship Team Member of the month for October was Robyn Rudloff, Team member of the month for November was Tim Dover, and Team member of the month for December was Robyn Rudloff.
January 18 we had our annual Youth Sunday where the annoucement of the Youth Worship Team Member of the Year and runners-up were announced. Team member of the year was Robyn Rudloff, first runner-up was Jason Lee, second runner-up was Tim Dover, Third runner-up was Danny Hill, and fourth runner-up was TJ Davis. Also on this night, Nicole Burgess was promoted from Choldren’s Church to the Youth Worship Team.
January 23 we had a lock-in at the church. During the lock-in, Bryan Maddox accepted Christ as his Savior and we had one rededication.

Logan Creek YIH

January Youth in the Harvest was held at Mt. Zion. Bro. Larry Edwards Sr. presented the message with an impressive illustration with a rose.
There were 44 present with 6 churches represented. Ohlman recieved the Attendence Banner and Antioch the Percentage Banner. If you missed this meeting, you missed a great fellowship & a real blessing.

Be Still

Ps. 46:10: Be still, and know that I am God ... How often do we take time to be still? Sleeping doesn’t count either.
Have you ever sat in an empty church? Just sat there, with no one else around. It’s a wondrous experience. It’s strange. It’s quiet. It’s spooky. But it’s also very humbling. It looks huge and empty. But when you sit still and listen, you can hear choirs singing, preachers’ words whispering. It will fill you with wonder if you allow it.
But to be still, you don’t have to be in church. Be anywhere away from the world (not your bedroom either) and you can feel the wonder of God. Be still. Experience it. Truely know God is there. Amazing Grace can be found.

Attitude

“The longer I live the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude ... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ... we are in charge of our attitudes.”
