May 04 – September Till Date 04 :- IBM - AstraZeneca UK Ltd - Team Leader - dealing with all aspects of building, deploying and decommissioning of IT equipment.

Ø       Managing 7 engineers, covering end to end process from building, installing and break fixing over 2000 clients in the sales and marketing arm of AstraZeneca.

May 2002 – May 2004 :-            IBM - Senior Support Specialist at American Express site.

Roles & Responsibilities :-

Ø       Providing tailor made technical solution for SVPs and Presidents in EMEA.

Ø       Sole representative of Corporate Infrastructure Services and single point of contact for London.

Ø       Manage all technology related projects in London.   

Ø       Providing comprehensive range of services for desktop hardware and software.

Ø       Third level technical and customer services escalation point for London.

Ø       Managing and developing the relationship between American Express and the third party vendors - namely NSI, Compel, Computer Centre, HP and the Facilities Management.

Union Bank of Switzerland and Banque Paribas 

Supporting over 1000 stock brokers, traders and support staff at each of the sites.  The work was fast paced and required being efficient, resourceful and versatile.   

December 96 – Aug 97 :- Principle Analyst, National Cash Registers (UK) Ltd.,

Providing 2nd line on-site support to 1000 NCR users in their Greater London offices.   Looking after the LAN and WAN, involved in the modernisation and upgrading of their hardware and software.  Playing a key roll in the roll-out of Windows 95, Office 95, MS Exchange and internet access. Installing configuring, supporting and trouble shooting over the phone aswell as face-to-face. Supporting PCs, laptops and looking after the corporate servers in accordance with established SLAs.

Jan 95-June 95 :- Technical assistant, Western Systems, European HQ, London,

Providing hardware and software assistance over the phone to customers ranging from individual users to government departments and organising on-site engineer visits.
