"Seek help in patience and with Salat; and truly it is hard save for the humble-minded. Thos who
are humble minded who know that they will meet their Lord and that to Him they will return
[The Holy Quran Surah Al-Baqara, Chapter 2 and verses 45 and 46]
What is meant by patience here is fasting and prayer, for these strengthen faith, teach a man to be humble, put and end
to laziness and idleness, and make a man strong enough to face all other kinds of difficulties. Humble minded are those whose
hearts are filled with the fear of Allah. They find no difficulty in praying, fasting, and telling the truth under all circumstances.
