The Admiralty Board

Admiral's Bar

The Admiralty Board can be likened to an adhesive: They hold Warp Nine together. Without these fine, outstanding individuals, the Fleet would just be a bunch of ships floating aimlessly around in the void of space. These are the founders and stabilizers of Warp Nine. They organize, staff, and commission new ships and stations, keep existing ships from becoming over-staffed, train new command officers, run Starfleet Academy, and attend lots of social gatherings.

Fleet Commander

Fleet Admiral Terra Greene has just recently become the Fleet Commander after the semi-retirement of Adm. Jollan Monz. She is pleased and grateful to Adm. Monz for her recent promotion.

Admiral Greene is human and was born on Earth well over 39 years ago, although we're not sure of the exact figure. She's always had a passion for rescuing anything on the verge of extinction, and since all of Earth's endangered species had been saved many years ago, she decided to join Starfleet and find other things to help. While part of an away team, her ship, a science vessel, was called away to aid the Fleet at Wolf 359. It never returned, and the away team were the small ship's only survivors. Due to lack of personnel and the fact that she'd just survived the bloodiest battle in Federation history, Terra Greene was made an admiral. Since then, she's made sure that there is plenty of research on the Federation's many ecosystems, so that none of the existing species, endangered or not, go extinct. Also, when her ship was lost, she decided that protection of the Federation was of prime importance, as well, and has been instrumental in the commissioning of several advanced defense ships.

FAdm. Terra Greene was created and is run by Berit Muncy.

Vice-Fleet Commander

Admiral Solan, following the recent promotion of FAdm. Terra Greene, has received the position of Vice-Fleet Commander. He is also the Board's special advisor regarding all Vulcan matters.

Admiral Solan is a native of Vulcan, and is the son of one of Vulcan's prominent philosophers. He attended the Vulcan Science Academy, focusing on the engineering. This was where he decided that he could best use his skills to aid the Federation, and he joined Starfleet. Immediately after the Academy, he was posted to the USS Intrepid as a Warp Propulsion Specialist, and then transferred 5 years later to the USS Saratoga. He received a promotion to Chief Propulsion Officer, and then to Chief Engineering Officer during his 13-year tenure on the Saratoga. Then-Commander Solan was recognized by Starfleet Command for having designed a new type of computer core and system that incorporated microscopic biological components to facilitate the relay processes. He was observed for a year, and then promoted to Captain and placed in charge of one of Starfleet's scientific stations, where he oversaw many new experiments and projects. This later grew into the Research and Development department, which he has headed until his recent promotion.
