Welcome to Armstrong Lunar Base!  

Armstrong Lunar Base (ALB) is the training facility for Alt.Starfleet.RPG.  It is located on the Earth's moon (Luna).

Alt.Starfleet.RPG (or ASR) is a newsgroup on the Internet. ASR uses the newsgroup to create interactive fiction based on Star Trek: the Next Generation, but extrapolated some 40 years after the series. The players create characters and, together, develop stories about the ships, starbases, and crew. Founded in 1992, ASR has grown to over 46 role-playing units organized into five fleets and one ancillary ("free thread") group, and currently involves well over 400 players.
