Solomon Kilroy? Merely a name. The Bard has known many names in his travels. When I was in London I wrote under the name Stephen Krates, in the lovely young city of Leningrad, I was Simon Kardigan, and I have known at least five other nom duguerre in my brief tour of the world. A name is nothing, but the image you project under that name defines your entire world. Through my travels I have earned the nickname Bard of the Ages. Probably more a testiment to my age than to my talents. In my travels I have written and performed very little (comparitively), but I have backed and protected the finest and brightest artists that the world has seen. I funded the careers of the London Thesbians, the American Tennessee Williams, and the melancholy Bertold Brecht. I Never met any of these people, but their careers depended on my approval, and their safety was guaranteed my watchful eye. Why do I suffice to stay in the shadows, and let these others take my spotlight? Because I long ago lost what is the most vital ingredient in the creation of art: My Humanity. Without the pain, passion, and agony of life, how can one continue to create? Instead, my role has changed to that of shepard. I am like a curator, who preserves what is beautiful, nurtures talent (which I am told I can spot at many paces), and protects what is worthwhile to the world. I still write, of course, and try to add beauty to what is still unformed, but my days of creation have passed. I am but a traveling Bard, content with my role as a protector and developer.

-Currently, I am developing Victor Hugo's Masterpiece "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" into play form, and calling it "Esmerelda". -I am also coordinating (and sponsoring with my own considerable influence) the construction of an Art Symposium in which to house all the beauty and creative energy that Clan Toreador contains.
