This is more or less how I would like the page to look. I'm considering doing the layout in dreamweaver to eliminate the clunky FP200 frames. This will be the greeting page.
The main purpose of this cd-based project will be to:
What I need you to do is pretty simple. I need someone to advise me on the layout, as well as the color schemes, borders, and buttons. You've always been a wiz at layout and design, so I would like to ask for your help, at your own convenience. Folks over here will do all the production. I'd like the entire thing to be nature-themed, aesthetically pleasing, and intuitive. The trick will be arranging it so that the artistry doesn't get in the way of legibility.
As for this mock-up, I'd like the text-links you see at left to be developed into buttons, and I'd like a general color-theme for top-level as well as sub-level pages. You can take this as far as you want/have time to. Slight variations may be needed between the index page, the content pages, and the individual animal/parkland pages. Graphics can be used fairly liberally, as the entire site will be on a cd-rom, but I'd like to keep the entire thing as uncluttered as possible. Think negative space. You have full command, Emperor Duck. I fully entrust all decisions concerning backgrounds, design, fonts, and anything else you think is clever to you, should you willingly accept such responsibility.
I've created one main page on this mock-up to show you the general lay of the land. You can access it by clicking the "birds" link at left.
Thanks for all your help, and if you have any questions, please email me.
