I've only known about Dune since January 2000 and since then, I've been hooked.  Just so I can be clear on why I'm hooked, the top of the cover says "Science Fiction's Supreme Masterpiece."  I won't argue with that for a second.

So, when I get a chance to, I'm going to give reasons why I like this book so much.  Then, I hope, more people will give it a chance.

And one more thing--I'm only going to talk about the novel Dune, not the movie that was written and directed by that guy roasting in Chicken Hell.
