Ideals

The Shadow Society exists for a number of reasons...
The first is to bring a sense of true brotherhood and sisterhood
to each of our members. We will help a fellow Shadow if we possibly
can. Next, we exist to equalize the total lack of control experienced
by younger adventurers by defending them, teaching them and sometimes
hunting with them. Third, we bring back the secrecy and mystery of
the once hush-hush Thieves' Guild. We are very much into role-playing.
No, we don't feel that you have to talk like a drunken scottish moron
to role-play. Though, you can if you like. We do such things as start
our own little quests and goals. Many times, the plans and such will
profit us all. Other times, they're just for fun and/or to attack our
enemies. Currently, we don't have any enemies, but that will most likely
change shortly. There are many positions available to each member and
to avoid mistakes, the positions will be granted upon further evaluation
of each member after he or she is accepted into the Society. One of the
positions we have is Assasin. This is a position of possibly constant
PvP. Unfortunately, due to GM Stupidity, we can't just run around and
stab people... therefore, our Assasins must CHALLENGE before killing or
take full responsibility for what will happen if they don't. We do not
publicly condone any actions that violate Simutronics Policy, though
privately... hehehe. Anyway,it is important that you are not a member
of any other orginizations that are anything but social. If we get in
a war with another orginization, I don't want any traitors. Traitors
will be immediately executed. Also, it is good to remember... we are
not just a bunch of cloaks and daggers, we are people of all races
and all professions that have a bond beyond mere friendship... we have a
bond of true loyalty and caring for one another... most looking in from
outside don't see us this way however. Because often, we are cruel to
them in order to get information and we are so secretive it isn't funny.
Those that give out private information about our Society may be exiled
and/or Assasinated. We consider such acts to be betrayal and treason.
