"Winnipeg, Canada is one of the locations being considered for the filming of the $15-million dollar sequel to Urban Legend. Los Angeles producer Edward Teets said Winnipeg will be considered among only a small handful of other locations. "This city could work for that sequel," said the vice-president for physical production at Phoenix Pictures. At this moment in time, casting hasn’t been finalized. Filming is expected to start within 2-3 months. A final decision on location will be made within’ two weeks. After a day of visiting sites, Teets said it was the "University Of Manitoba" campus that tipped the scale for Winnipeg. "The Movie takes place around a university (in Georgia) and the U of M suits that campus."
