Origins: East Side, Baby!

Corrigan, Ray & I (being Besy) are from New York, Jed’s from Virginia, and Hober’s got Boston covered.

But now, we’re all slummin’ it in various neighborhoods north of Motown.

Style: Pop-Punk-Metal (thank you Less than Jake…)

What can we say - we’re a punk band (of sorts). We decided this on Saturday (July 13^th, 2002).

A Technical Punk Band - whatever the hell that means. Think 311 - with the occasional bang-your-head,

kill-your-mother-kill-your father happy-happy-joy-joy thrown in to keep it interesting.

Name: Shut Up Robert

Real reason: Red Dawn - one of the greatest movies EVER. Watch the movie, about an hour into it

when Patrick Swayze and his crew execute a captured Russian soldier. The rest is self-explanatory.

2^nd Reason: The picture immediately above. Rob – he’s a nice guy. But when he gets drunk, he likes

to talk serious sh*t. Seriously. So, we tell him to “Shut Up” - a lot. Hence the name.
