Gil's dad had a Top 10 hit called "Cinderella rockafella" in Austria in 1968. by the time he was nine, young Gil and his little brother Tal were performing on stage with their father, which led to work in TV commercials. Gil scored a recording contract in 1998 and has just released his fifth single in Germany.</font></p> <p align="center"><font color="#FFFFFF" size="6"><b>He could've been a professinsal tennis player.</b></font></p> <p align="center"><font color="#FFFFFF" size="5"> Gil is so good at tennis that we may have heard about him because of his on-court skills rather than his music. Fortunately for us, the singer/songwriter(he also plays drums and keyboards)decided he needed a music career. "I'm always listening to music." he says. As if to prove a point, one ear is on big hit's questions, the other glued to the head phones of his Discman! "I go surfing every year in Israel. I'm a little surfing boy. Son of a beeeach." he says."I've only been in Australia a short time but I've alreay been shopping for surfing clothing because it's much cheaper than in Germany. I flew to Brisbane to do THE BIG Breakfast and saw the country from the plane. it's beautiful!
