My Wait

Beneath an earthly sky,
I wait for my host to die,
I've lived my life as to always learn,
So my soul can fly.

High above an earthly sky,
Is where I want my soul to lie,
Forever to live in a pleasant time.

My soul has felt the pain of life,
And now wishes to sleep,
Sleep and stay in heaven's dream,
Where life's pain can never reach.
