Elysia: The Secret World Lost Treasures

Welcome! This section of the site contains chronicles of a short game I'm running set in the world of legends, myths and magick called Elysia.

The creator of the game can be found at his most excellent page Subjective Excellence. He has a number of pieces of his artwork in the gallery section, many of which are directly inspired by Elysia.

Dramatis Personae

Seraphina Abigail O'Malley (a.k.a. "Abby", "Phina")

Human Magicker

The forlorn half-daughter of Lady and Lord Underwood who always finds herself overshadowed by her (legitimate) younger brother, David. Young and unsure of herself, she nonetheless agrees to lead the quest to rescue her brother from his kidnappers.

Read her backstory on the player's site, Random Echoes.

Ioan

Oannes Magicker (Water & Lightning Mage)

The Oannes private tutor of David (and sometimes Abigail), he is a fish out of water -- literally. Curious about how the land-dwellers live, he agreed to work for Lord Underwood and teach young David the ways of philosophy and the world. If only he knew a bit more of them himself...

Uther

Dwarven Warrior

A hardened and somewhat disillusioned Dwarven warrior, he was once rescued by David's great grandfather. To return the favour, he now seeks to rescue young David's life. Of course, the fact that an ocean stands in his way presents him with a particularly personal battle to win...

Sister Isobel

Human Avatar of the Guardian

A shy avatar fresh out of the Cloister of the Guardian in Wyndhamere, she sees the world with fresh eyes -- and it sometimes scares her. Thankfully, she can rely upon the grumpy Uther as a protector, who raised her from a baby. Over time, however, she may find that the spirit of the Guardian flows strongly in her...

See a a picture of her on her player's website, Subjective Excellence.

Rikkard Van Vellomsen

Human Magicker (Summoner)

A Northerner far from home, seeking abroad for power and glory anything other than the unattainable, mythical Titan armour which ruined his family. Rikkard found himself set upon this quest by a strange little squirrel-woman who returned his life when none other could. Brash and rough, most find his manner alien or rude, but beneath it all burns the fire of his family.

The Chronicles

The game has just passed its seventh (!) session, so as you can see, I'm far behind. Given that it is a limited-run game (only about 2-3 more sessions to go), I can deal with that, but it is definitely annoying..
