Ryan often comes off as intense and serious but he also has a sarcastic humour that shines through once he is comfortable. He takes school and his music very seriously, Ryan attended Unionville High school and would like to maybe become an architect one day. He listens to bands like Silverchair, Beastie Boys, 311 and Rage Against the Machine. But he has also been rumoured to chill out to blues, jazz, or classical music. His taste in music is varied and ever-changing.  He has two younger siblings : Gillian (10) & Blake (12) and a black cat named Tyson (who he sometimes treats less than gently he he he)...

He used to have an agent who got him a commercial for "Fruity Crisps Cereal" and on the "Super Man's Dead" video by Our Lady Peace giving him tons of exposure on National TV. Ryan is also the rip system guy. Ryan is definately the most easily recognizable member of the band. He is known for his trademark spiked hair do. However a high maintenance look is hardly what Ryan sports off stage. His style is comfortable and that bleached hair of his is always always hidden under a baseball hat. He loves being active and outside. Often playing basketball, riding his bike, or  working out to stay in shape, this once self proclaimed "laziest boy in the world" is now changing his habits. His other hobbies include playing video games and collecting Star Wars toys.
