Thinking about going to the movies? See what I think before you see it. I'll tell you if it is worth the money we pay to see it. See how many stars I rate the movie to tell how much you really want to see it, remember, you don't have to take my opinion.
* Totally awful with no point and very long and drawn out
** Still awful but with a little bit more reason to watch, not as boring
*** An alright film, one that will probably do okay in the movies, making some what of a lot of money.
**** Definatly worth seeing, has meet all goals and guidelines
***** The best film I've seen in a very long time. Excellent, well worth watching over and over.
My Scream 3 review was so big that I had to put it on a different page. SEE MY FULL, NO SPOILER REVIEW ON SCREAM 3 BY CLICKING HERE
Sleepy Hallow- **** stars, A well planned scary movie. Very well done. I loved it, as scary movies go, this one just about tops them all. Some scenes I might add are a bit gorey and some a tiny bit drawn out but overall the movie had a great plot, storyline and actors/actresses. If you're a horror movie buff, check this movie out!
Anywhere But Here- ** stars, An alright film. One I will probably not see again. It was a total Chick-Flick and me being a chick and all still didn't enjoy it. Basically it was about a young girl that hated her mother because she was weird. Also because they moved, big deal. Portman cried in almost every scene and I for one had no pitty upon her. If you like those kind of Girly movies, see it. If not, don't waste your time with this film.
Three to Tango- ** stars, I actually gave this movie a chance considering that it starred Neve Campbell as one of the main characters. It was horrible. The intire movie was about a guy everyone thought was gay, but wasn't and he quickly falls in love with Amy (Neve Campbell). Basically it was a bore and didn't appeal to me at all.
Drive me Crazy- *** stars, not one of the best movies I've ever seen but now the worst. The movie staring Melissa Joan Heart has been rather dissapointing for me. It had its good points but basically it was another "10 things I hate about you". The movie had some what of a good story line but I felt it could of been a lot better.
Stir Of Echoes- **** stars, Ever see The Sixth Sense? If you like that movie, you'll love this one. I honestly don't know which one was scarier. It was very simular to The Sixth Sense, but the father was seeing the ghosts, not the boy. Anyway, I feel now I know more about ghosts, even though no one knows what they are really like. I suggest you see this film...I enjoyed it.
Dick- *** stars, Although people think Dick is a gross name for a movie it was fairly good. It was very funny and if you like those 70's flashback movies, go and see this! I feel the movie is for all ages. No nudity although there is an "F" word or two. Basically, it is about two airheads that find out a secret about their own president. I think the movie was worth seeing, you just have to be the right person to see it.
American Pie- **** stars, More like a teenager-flick but I loved this movie. This movie was perverted in a funny way. The point of the whole film was for four boys to loose their virginity by prom night. I thought it was worth it, although, if you are over the age of 30 you probable won't enjoy this movie
The Haunting- ** stars, I really didn't like this movie. It was very boring to me and seemed to fail as a movie. Possibly as a book it would have succeded more. I'm not going to spoil it for you but I thought it was bad only because it was basically all computer grafics. You could tell it was fake, The story line was good, but the effects weren't. If you want my opinion, don't waste your money seeing this film, I didn't recieve a good scare from it. On a scale from 1 to 10, I rate it a 4.
The Blair Witch Project- ***** stars, SEE IT!! I loved it. It was extreamly scary although it was fake. When I saw it, I thought it was real, it took a lot for me to believe it was false. People of all ages will love this movie. I think it will always be a classic from years on, it was a 10 all the way!!
The Sixth Sense- ***** stars, The movie was very real. What made it good was that the movie was never slow moving. It had a great story line and was some-what original because there isn't many movies about little boys seeing ghosts. I really enjoyed it. I think everyone has a fear of ghosts and this movie proves a lot of things. There isn't much I can tell you without spoiling it for you but...it is about a young boy that sees dead people. What a crazy ending, see the movie, maybe you will like it as much as I do.
Deep Blue Sea- **** stars, Ever see Jaws? If you liked Jaws, you'll love this movie. I thought it was 10x scaier then Jaws. I thought it was a good summer movie, however it should of came out in June and not Aug. If you like those kind of sea movies, see this. It seemed very scary and the shark looked life-like, unlike the monsters in "The Haunting".
