Nicklar is 29 years old and stands 6 feet tall. He has spent most of this life studying magic and doing research in his castle, on the small island named Baz, located about 50 miles west of Bizmar city. Azaya's castle is also located in the same area, on another isle only a short distance from Nicklars.

Although Nicklar has an easy going disposition, he can become dangerous when angered. Not only does he possess tremendous magical spell knowledge, he also has the psionic powers that those of the Rydan race are blessed with.

Nicklar came to the Medieval Tavern to become its caretaker during Azaya's absence. While there, he met a selkie named Adriana and fell in love with her, but she soon left to return to her kinfolk. Shortly thereafter, Nicklar became involved with a shape-shifting female gold dragon named, Naiomi. Their relationship continues to develop.

Nicklar's Secret: Nicklar is the younger and only brother of the mind mage Azaya Galantra. They prefer to keep their kinship a secret for reasons of safety and only their most trusted friends know of their relationship.
