Jake is 6'3" tall with straight, dark brown hair and pale green eyes. He was born seventeen years ago to a prostitute and spent the first 15 years of his life living with his mother in the whore house. When his mother died he left the establishment and was taken under the wing of Marz Nighcrawler and his Street Devils gang. Almost two years later, Marz disappeared and the gang broke up leaving Jake to fend for himself. He was eventually rescued from an assault by thugs by a man named Eldonair Marcon and taken to the Fighter's Guild where he was offered free room and board as well as lessons.
He now studies the art of fighting from a man named Darius Tritel. Jake loves to talk a lot and is somewhat of a klutz. He is eager to make new friends and tries his best to be a good student but can be over zealous at times in his attempts to please.
Recently, Darius presented him with a magic sword named, SOTS (Spirit of the Sword). The Blade seems to speak into his mind occasionally and helps Jake appear to be a better fighter than he really is.
