To those of you who left the islands many years ago. I hope this photographic tribute from the 1950's brings back fond memories of warm nights and casual strolls along the Kingsway, of enjoying laughter and gossip with old friends. To those of you who haven't had that pleasure, hopefully this will tempt you to visit one of the friendliest islands I know.
