From the diary of Megan:

To me,such words seemed to be as much nonsense as her first claim,so I dismissed them as just that. Oh,how I would come to regret such an action. The governess had proof,to back up her claims, proof which she produced, when I all but accused her of being a liar. How she did the impossible was to produce a copy of my hospital birth certificate. She handed it to me,with a smile on her face, which indicated victory in this arguement.

When I read the first of the two birth certificates she handed me,I allowed the one with my old name,to slip from my fingers, due to how I was unable to believe everything I believed about my life, was a tale told me,just to spare my feelings. The second item I read, was more of a shock than the first, due to how it revealed that she,the governess, was also my sisters mother. As before, even more shocking news was awaiting me,just around the bend from this news.
