Sirah's Realm
You arrive through a portal in a flash of blinding
white light. It takes your vision awhile to adjust to your new surroundings, but
once you can finally see you go stiff in terror. You appear to have dumped at the
feet of a demonic creature. Level with your eyes a pair of golden orbs study you
with a predatory gleam from a face that looks as if it should belong in someone’s
nightmares. The spines on the monster’s back rise far above your head. The creature
has a slight overbite, and it’s massive jaw is filled with sharp teeth. The ram horns,
extra set of limbs, and clawed feet doesn’t improve your estimation in the least.
You’re quite certain you’re about to die.

However, death doesn’t come. Eventually you come to notice the brilliant blue gryphon
between the creatures front feet. The demonic creature would dwarf just about anything,
but the contrast between it and the cat sized gryphon makes the scene absurd. The
situation only becomes more ludicrous as the gryphon starts to speak.
“Welcome to Sirah’s Realm, Web Wanderer.” She, for the voice is definitely feminine,
says cheerfully. “I suspect your here to either explore the realm and meet the various
fosters, or check out the Realm’s own adoption programs..”
You’re unable to believe that she’s speaking so calmly to you. Hasn’t she noticed
the demonic creature standing over her.
“Ah, I see you’re a bit concerned by Cenek.” There’s
more then a hint of amusement it her tone, she’s noticed that you’re unable to take
your eyes from the monster. “ He’s the Guardian for the Entrance, and does a wonderful
job of making sure all the creatures of the Realm remain here, where they’re supposed
to be. Unless you’re a poacher, Cenek here won’t bother you...” She reaches out to
pat one huge, taloned foot and your jaw nearly drops. The demonic creature could
crush the gryphon by lifting a foot, and she’s patting it as if it was a loyal pet!
Cenek growls in your general direction, and you wonder about the turth of the gryphon’s
last statement. You get the feeling he would have no problem with ‘bothering’ you,
but something prevents him from doing so. The little gryphon couldn’t possibly be
the reason he hasn’t attacked you, but something has leashed this monster. You hope
that whatever is used to keep this thing in line is extremely strong.
“Anyway, both can be found through the portals to the various habitats. Just follow
the labels.” She gestures, and holes of white fire appear in the air. Each has a
label before it, stating where it leads to.“
She pauses for a moment, waiting to see if you have any questions. When you don’t
speak up she continues with a shrug of her wings. “I imagine you’re anxious to get
going.. Just pick a portal and off you go!” That statement is punctuated with a chirp.
Examing the portals, you choose one and prepare to go through. Then you realize you
don’t know the gryphon’s name and pause. “Who are you?”
Already padding away, the gryphon chuckles. ‘I”m Sirah.”
Your eyes widen as you realize you’ve been speaking to the mistress of the realm.
However, you don’t get a chance to say anything as the gryphon has already gone,
leaving you with the Guardian Cenek...
Time to leave. You pick a portal and head through...

would live here? Find out in the various Oasises.
The Forest - Many unusual creatures live in and around the forest. The
wild Qualiron Prides lurk in the shadows. What are the Qualirons? Visit to find out!
