Artana is a world rich with magic, from pole to pole. A world thick with intrigue and dark deeds, Artana is always in need of heroes. The world is driven solely off the D20 Open Game License 1.0a, which gives me a lot of flexible freedom as to the world I create. For all intents and purposes, I have used almost every D&D 3 and 3.5 reference I could buy, so I have loaded up with a lot of options.
I am not going to post the entire content of Artana on the web just yet. There are many issues still being resolved in playtest and since I'm not doing any playtesting for a year, the brakes are locked up.
The places encountered here are places within the Artanic continent of Ornthas, which at current is the only continent that is habitated by the common races.
Be aware that there are races in Artana unique to it, and I will list those different races specifically when the story requires so. Otherwise, you will either have to know the D&D game or just accept the fiction as it is, a fiction in progress.
All of the common races, with subraces listed in the Monster Manual are part of the Artana world.
Exceptions to the Core Rules:
Dark Elves are not Drow on Artana. They are Dark Elves or Black Elves.
Psionics are more common on Artana than other worlds. All magical items have a 10% chance of being psionic equals to their magical brethren.
Sorcerers have D6 for hit dice instead of D4, to reflect their nature to adventure for knowledge.
Metallic Dragons are much more tolerable of other metallics than stated in the MM.
