The USS Allegiance was launched in 2375 from Earth Station McKinley. It was the fourth Sovereign-Class Starship to be commissioned. Its original mission was to explore the unknown regions of deep space, but because of the Dominion war, the Allegiance is busy defending the Federation. Under the command of Captain Brian E. O'Flanagan, the ship was involved in several fightings and since Stardate 52510, it is part of the 9th fleet stationed in the Bajor sector.
  Some special features of this new ship are the metaphasic shielding, the ablative armor matrix and the improved long range sensor system. The combat efficiency has been increased by almost 23%, compared with the prototype USS Sovereign.
