DEVIOUS - THE FINAL PRODUCT

As we are a strictly Amateur production we are bound by copyright law not to make money from our production. The BBC copyright the Doctor Who concept as well as the Tardis sets etc. The Daleks' copyright is held by Terry Nation. We can therefore not sell our video even in the manner of the BBV Video releases such as The Stranger series, since we use characters and ideas from the BBC series. We are not averse to investigating any way in which people could have a copy if a donation were made to charity, though this also seems very unlikely. Rather the final piece will only be seen by friends and colleagues of us the makers, on a free basis. Maybe something will come up in the future - who knows, though we are not actively seeking anything - we have made the film's subject Doctor Who because we like the programme - not because we want to make money!

We have decided that our next project will NOT contain any copyright material AT ALL - it will be a totally original piece of work - one which could be sold if we felt it could be! Whether it would be Science Fiction is another matter.
