The Sadness all Vampire/yre and goths go through can be overwhelming. You are feeling the returning dead that have gone before us. They are merged with us to find solace and come forth again. Just as all vampyre share bodies they merge with those nearest them to regenerate till they can pass into the material realm. Many times it is by accident and they are too weak to break away from the magnetism of you body. If you understand this and explore the emotion as someone with you but not you it will help you ride it out as it passes. For those who are inspired by it remember they only are with you a short time so you must write or compose it all within a few hours to days. Then it is gone forever. A stronger life force may stick around to help you finish if you are dedicated to it. Those that study the arts liken it to invocation. They can be restored to us but need to find our special feeders/healers we share bodies with. They ARE special members of ouR society that are usually into the arts researching. Many of these souls are returning to the material realm of earth. But during the regeneration process it awakens the old memories of being tortured souls. That is what causes the great sadness. Till they are strong enough to block it and bring their shielding back up.
