Confirmed by Dreamworks : Jurassic Park 3
is going to be a fact - maybe titled Icefall
Almost all of the information available about
Jurassic Park 3 is a fact now. Michael
Crichton is working on the new novel and Spielberg will not direct
the movie. Universal will probably produce the film, but I've also heard
that the new Dreamworks SKG may be ready for a project as large as a Jurassic
Park film. As for the plot of the new book and movie, There was an interesting
rumor--the third installment of the Jurassic Park series may actually be
a prequel. Whether it will be a prequel to Jurassic Park or The Lost World
is still unknown. Never the less all the the rumors, Jurassic Park 3 will
most likely happen, but probably not until 1999.
It is said that the Jurassic Park 3 book
will be a prequel to the first novel, Jurassic Park.
A few new rumors about Jurassic Park 3 have
surfaced; Supposedly, the next Jurassic Park movie will be entitled "Jurassic
Park: Icefall", and the people in charge are already on their third draft
of the screenplay.
It is rumored to come out around December
1999
It is rumored that it is going to be a prequel to either Jurassic
Park or Lost World I'm not sure.
Supposedly it is going to shoe Hammond setting up Jurassic Park
and Site B
Supposedly they are going to follow the Lost World: Jurassic Park
ending by having the the raptors who had secretly sneaked on the
SS Venture go lose on San Diego (which will explain why the crew
was dead when the T-Rex was locked in the cargo hold
In Lost World: Jurassic Park Roland Tembo says "I've already
been here", it is rumored that this means that he had been to
Site B before and that he had already taken animals off the island
Supposedly it is going to talk about Hammond trying to bread the
dinosaurs on the maine land.
Supposedly Steven Spielberg is going to direct the movie and it
looks like Universal is going to produce it but it also looks like
Dreamworks might produce it.
It really has been confirmed, there will be a Jurassic Park 3!!!!
Dinosaur Magazine
has confirmed the rumor that Michael Crichton will
be working on a third Jurassic Book! Here's
the article
I believe that this may still be a rumor, but that's not what micha.demon
thinks, this is straight off of his page...
"It is said that the Jurassic Park 3 book will be a prequel
to the first novel, Jurassic Park. Confirmed by Dreamworks : Jurassic Park
3 is going to be a fact"
From the information that I have collected I think that Spielberg
will direct the film and his new studio, Dreamworks SKG will produce the
film, instead of Universal. Also David Koepp will probably be involved.
Also because of the knowledge I have of the previous two films, my guess
is that Michael Crichtom is writing the book right now and the movie will
have nothing to do with it.
Michael Crichton is working on the new novel and Spielberg will
direct the movie. Universal might produce the film, but I've also received
that the new Dreamworks SKG may be ready for a project as large as a Jurassic
Park film. As for the plot of the new book and movie, I've heard an interesting
rumor--the third installment of the JP series may actually be a prequele
to Jurassic Park.
If Universal produces JP3, it's quite possible that Steven Spielberg
won't direct. Spielberg has said that after JP2, he will only direct for
his studio, Dreamworks SKG
The Lost World will end by setting up for "the 3rd and final film"
according to an official source within Dreamworks. He also goes on to say
"it involves a T-rex & and a big-ass boat. That's all I can give away."
It has been reported that the JP3 book will be a prequel to the
first novel, Jurassic Park. Now this is something to think about. A third
Jurassic Park movie will be coming out, as well as a novel. The novel will
come out around summer '98, and a movie is due by 1999. The novel will
be written by Michael Crichton, and the movie might be directed by Speilberg,
if DreamWorks gets the movie. It might be a prequel to either the first
or second JP. There are also reports that it will be a sequel, which is
most likely considering the ending $158.5 million. Here's some interesting
info about JP3, from the British film magazine, "Total Film":
"According to the sfx bods, Jurassic Park III is not that far off
from going going before the camera, with Spielberg wanting the whole thing
ready for New Year's Eve 1999-and special mignight first screenings just
as the century turns. The new tale sees the dinos finally reclaiming what
was once their planet after a new Ice Age wipes out nearly all of mankind."
The article goes on to suggest that Elizabeth Shue might be a high contender
for the female lead with Ian Malcolm character still surviving. Note: At
the moment, this tid-bit should be taken as a rumor, and nothing more.
