The Series:

After the series:
It was never revealed what became of the second Harbinger Renegade team. We can only assume that their cause grew and eventually helped to spawn the Harbinger Wars that consumed the world for about 900 years. More on that later.

Many of the plots from this series carried over into The Visitor series. The biggest of which was the identity of Anvil's killer, the Harbinger. Harada developed an interest in this Visitor character and kept sending the Harbinger to confront him. Meanwhile, Flamingo developed a friendship with the Visitor's "sidekick" Chen. Thus she was present when the Harbinger (sporting a spiffy new colored costume) was finally unmasked. Flamingo recognized him instantly. The Harbinger was really none other than Peter "Sting" Stanchek. He'd been brainwashed by Harada and forced to do all of those not-so-nice things he was doing. Well, several issues later, another Harbinger related revelation was made. The Visitor was revealed to also be Peter Stanchek. (What?) Remember in Rai 0 when Petey disappears from the face of the Earth in the year 2056? Well it turns out that he was being held prisoner by Harada who was trying to brainwash him again. He finally breaks free in 2063 and he runs into Ivar, the Timewalker. Pete, who is now an old man, decides to do some time traveling with Ivar. He eventually comes to the past (or present) and ends up in Ladakh calling himself the Visitor. He came back to break Harada's control over his past self. Unfortunately, the Visitor dies soon after and Peter Stanchek's long, eventful life came to a close.

What happens next is unknown, but in the year 1999, Pete and Flamingo are back in their original Harbinger costumes with several other Harbingers with them. We can only surmise that after Pete was freed from Harada's control by his future self, he and Flamingo once again went renegade, possibly teaming up with Zepplin's group. This again leads into the afore-mentioned Harbinger Wars in which both Stanchek and Zepplin are leaders in the resistance.

In the year 2005, Flamingo gets away from the whole "crime-fighting" scene and marries Archer, from Archer & Armstrong. Thet stay happily married until Archer's death in 2020. Flamingo's life after that was never revealed. She may have joined her friends in the resistance against Harada, but she more than likely lived the rest of her life in peace and quiet.

The battle between Harada's Harbinger Foundation and Stanchek's Harbinger Resistance eventually developed into the Harbinger Wars. In 2056, Stanchek disappears during a raid (see above to see how this leads to the Visitor). The loss of the great leader causes Zepplin to retire from the resistance. She eventually joins the peace movement started by Archer.

It is around this time that Kris Hathaway, who is looking after Pete's family, writes her letter to her son Magnus. She gives the letter to the Geomancer Geoff and his young niece Lucinda Mendez, who is in traing to be the next Geomancer. The letter is passed down from geomancer to geomancer until the year 4020, when Magnus finally recieves the letter and learns who his parents are, or were.

In 2062, the Harbinger Wars take a turn for the worst. After killing X-O Manowar, Harada discovers that he can send his mind into other people's bodies, thus making him immortal in a sense. It was in this seemingly hopeless hour that Zepplin returned to the war to lead the resistance once again.

The war lasted until the year 2900. The Harbinger Resistance launched its final assault on Harada. John Stanchek, Pete's descendant, fought his way to Harada. John gets shot in the back by a harbinger guard before he could strike against Harada. As John lay on the floor dying, he turns and looks directly into Harada's eyes. All it takes is a split second and it's over. John's mind entered the body of Harada's current host, and Toyo Harada was finally killed. Using Harada's body, John was able to effectively end the war. Calling off all of Harada's troops, he assured victory for the Resistance and all of humanity (well, what was left of humanity anyways). After 900 years the world was finally able to start healing.
