The Food I Eat everyday (almost) |
Being an industrial area, there is suprising amount of food around here. Malaysians have no trouble getting use to the food here since there are many different types of cuisene (halal food abit harder to find). Other than your typical "Western Food" which can comprise of Pizza, Steak, Burgers, Macaroni, Spagheti, Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Buns and many types of soft drinks, (I have no interest in beers:P) there are also Japanese food such as Sushi King and Tokyo Corner, Chinese Food (too many to list out, really really lots), Indian food (Banana Leaf, Curry House), Malaysian (Penang Cafe), Vietnamese, Korean, Italian and many others.
The reason that the food page came up first is because "I eat to live to eat!". So it is befitting that the food page came up as soon as possible. On the average, fast food is the cheapest. But I found out this 'chap fan' shop in Market Ranch that serves economy rich at US 4.01 (RM 15.00). I say its cheap because of the serving size! Each meal I bought, I can separate them into 2! And those 2 are very very filling. Burger cost roughly US1.50 to US3.00 but the McD around here sucks. In-N-Out Burger rules. There are so many people buying from it, at peak times, the line juts out of the shop!
Buzy makan time are around 12-1 for lunch and 5-7 for dinner. Other than that, you need about US15-20 to treat yourself to a nice restaurant (excluding tips).
My first meal around here. Its the Setmeal 3 from In-N-Out burger joint. You can see the Hamburger (US1.50), Fries (US1.30) and Coke(US1.10). The burger is fantastic with fresh veg and large chunk of onion while the fries is fresh and fried lightly. None of the food is ever frozen so they are nice and juicy.
