Chad Underwood was born in the winter of 1977 to his mother, Adriana, and father Jacob. They had no other children before, or since. They lived in a three bedroom house in the suburbs of Aspen, Colorado. Chad was always teased due to his looks, and his small frame. He was always hit with snowballs, and pushed down hills, thus giving him many names that led up to being Ice Cold.
Chad left home at age 17 to go to college in Arizona, where he picked up on amatuer wrestling, then professional. He trained at a couple school in the Mesa area until starting out touring small indy feds in the South West United States.
After a coincidental meeting with his future boss, Jesse Schrage, he went on his first nation wide tour before signing with the Hardcore Wrestling League.
Garnering no respect what-so-ever he was rarely put on TV. Eventually, if not by accident, winning the HWL's first, and only King of Death Matches tournament/pay-per-view he gained a little respect, and alot of beatings.
After the HWL closed Chad was booked for a few indy dates here and there, until signing with Old School wrestling. He was brought in, and partnered up with newcomer Simon Masters, and they formed the infamous duo known as "POP." Unfortunately OSW folded bnefore POP was given a tag team title shot, but they were due.
After the OSW's folding, once again Chad found himself working indies. He has guest spotted in a few shows, but no big parts have come his way. And he's still looking, maybe you'll see him on TV soon enough, you never know. |
